English Multipliers teaches on how to become a better leader. In the book, the author differentiates people into Multiplier and Diminisher. Obviously, we should try to become a Multiplier instead of a Diminisher. However, sometimes we can be an Accidental Diminisher without noticing it. Through this book, I have learnt to recognize my shortcomings and am trying my best to be a Multiplier. 中文 《阿米巴经营》讲诉稻盛和夫的经营理念。作者在本书中毫不藏私地分享了他是如何带领京瓷公司获得成功的。我个人觉得本书的经营方式虽然不容易，不过如果能够做到，那这个企业很大几率能够做出一番大事业。

English Barking Up the Wrong Tree tries to debunk some myths on achieving success. This book looks at the common advice from both perspectives and suggests the best course of action. It prompts me to take a new look on the conventional methods to achieve success. With the techniques provided in this book, I hope that I am one step closer to success. I think this book is really good, especially for someone who feels stuck in life. 中文 《在天堂遇见的下一个人》是由《在天堂遇到的五个人》的作者所写的。这本书也可以算是《在天堂遇到的五个人》的续集。这本书并不会很长，不过故事却非常暖心。希望你阅读了之后也能感受到满满的正能量。

English The Warren Buffett Way contains the 12 tenets used by the greatest investor in making investment decision. I think every value investor should read this book as it contains valuable lessons for improving our performance. 中文 《七杀碑》是我在上个月唯一阅读的中文书，所以就只能选择这本书当作本月推荐了。这是一本不错的武侠小说，不过由于年代有点久远，所以有些词汇比较难懂。对我而言，这本书的一个缺点就是没有一个结尾。

English In 2019, I finished 44 books, which exceeds my target by 20 books. On average, I read 3.67 books/month, so it was around 3 books/month. Out of these books, 26 are in English language. The ratio of fiction to non-fiction is 1 to 25. I have only read 1 fiction during last year. This is due to the fact that I prefer to learn new skills or read biographies rather than novels. Most of the books that I read are related to finance/investment as I am dabbling in the stock market. However, once in a while, I would choose books in some unrelated fields just to take in some new perspectives. However, I feel that the ratio is too off balance. I am thinking of a ratio of 1 to 4 so that I would not overload my brain in 2020. Hopefully I will be able to achieve this ratio. 中文 我在二零一九年一共阅读了四十四本书。我的目标是月读二书，所以我已经超越目标了。我的平均阅读速度是每月三点六七本书，差不多就是一个月三本书。 四十四本书里有十八本是中文书籍，比英语书少了接近三成。在这些书中，五本属于文学类。与英文书籍比起来，文学类对非文学类的比例差异并不大。非文学类大多是一些商业管理书籍，因为我想看看如何管理好一门生意或事业。 新的一年里，我觉得应该多看点小说，或许会阅读些经典武侠小说。我也想要把中文书对英文书的必例保持在一对一。既然有了目标，那我就努力实现它吧！

English Big Money Thinks Small is the only English book that I managed to finish last month. Luckily it is a great book. Thus it becomes the book of the month for January 2020. It is a good value investing book and it mostly teaches on avoiding pitfalls and mistakes in investing. 中文 《虚无的十字架》探讨的主题非常沉重，发人深思。这本推理小说步伐紧凑，读到后半部才会发现真相。如果你想读一本推理小说的话，不妨选择这本吧！

English Good Stocks Cheap teaches about value investing. This book provides a number of practical advice and also shows us how the author analyses and values a stock. I think that every value investor can definitely learns something from this book. 中文 《十年一梦》这本书与里费默的《股票作手回忆录》一样讲述期货投机，不过一个在中国，一个在美国。基于地区不同，作者所遇到的事情也不可能与里费默一模一样。作者在《十年一梦》里总结了他在期货市场打滚的经验，并毫不吝于分享他的成功和失败。虽然我并不涉足于期货市场，不过也从这本书里学到了一些新知识来调整我的投资技巧。

English Billion Dollar Whale describes how the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) scandal happened. In this book, we can see the factors that caused the loss of billions of money and how one man managed to pull it off. I chose this book as book of the month due to the fact that it happened in Malaysia and the details that are presented in this book. 中文 《断舍离》所教导的是如何让生活变得跟简单幸福。书中所提到的方法并不难执行，所以我就选择了这本书作为本月推荐书籍。

English There are a few 3-star books in September. I have chosen The Culture Code for its practical advice and I could really connect with this book. 中文 上个月的中文书评不多，而且都没有3星评价。最后我选择了《用爱经营》这本书因为里面所包含的内容对经营者或管理者都大有帮助。

All my previous book reviews have been uploaded. So, from now on, I will have to start to hit my target of reading at least 2 books per month.

I just realized that I had some book review drafts kept somewhere in my computer. Thus, I am going to share the reviews more frequently till all my reviews are up on this blog.
